D600-D750 question
« on: May 19, 2016, 08:59:59 am »

I will be taking my D600 to Iceland and given that it's a once in a lifetime trip I plan to rent a D750 as a backup body. I am assuming that the 2 cameras are very similar in control layout, menu structure, use the same batteries, and that the 750 also has dual SD card slots. Is this all correct?

I don't have any of the cameras, but just to be sure... the manual can be downloaded here http://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/products/175/D750.html

Have a nice trip!

Peter,

I have both the D600 and D750 and yes they are very similar but with some differences. I don't think you will have any issues switching between the two, but I also would recommend downloaded both manuals and going through them to pinpoint the differences that might affect you. Then just make a list of the settings you want on the D750 before you go and shouldn't take more than a few minutes to setup the D750.

And yes the items you mentioned are correct.

Good Luck,

Roy
