Hello, I'm Harry who's interested in scanning old slide films from a drum scanner.
I currently have ICG 355i Drum Scanner with scanning software, scanxact 9.0 for old mac (G3).
I got an old mac and installed the software,
but when I open the software to scan, the scanning program stops indicating that I don't have a dongle (for some security reason) between the keyboard/mouse and the desktop.
It seems I'm missing the dongle so I'd like to know where I can get it. (If one of you have a spare dongle from similar old ICG scanner is nicer)
or I'd like to know if I can bypass the dongle check by modifying the scanxact program (maybe only the dongle check part).
If you have any suggestion or idea, please reply below.
