Alternatives to photoshop's "median" layer stack process?
«

Hi,
I would like to try the process made available in Photoshop's smart object median layer stacking function but I do not have CC or a PS extended license.
Is there a cheap 16 bit utility or plugin that I can try?
Thank you.

Thank you for your informative reply.
I had stumbled upon the second link this morning and was able to try a few median processes with Imagemagick.
I will try to get some experience with DeepSkyStacker tomorrow.
Thank you.
