I like it too. The path that goes around the formation is welcome, it adds a sense of scale.
Processing is also very well done.

I didn't realize Kodachrome came in black-and-white. Perhaps you missed a processing step! :)

Maybe his GPS was in error and took him to Tri-X Basin instead.   ;D
