Springtime in the Rockies
« on: April 30, 2016, 09:05:24 am »

Sitting here as the snow falls just contemplating.  I am DONE with snow and can't wait for real spring to arrive.

Here's a shot about a 40 minute drive into the mountains, taken on a nice springtime day in the Rockies, with a little cow boxing thrown in for good measure.

Nice shot.  Surely you've heard the "You might be from Colorado if . . ." jokes.  You might be from Colorado if you think May is a perfectly good month for a blizzard.  You might be from Colorado if you have a ponytail, but no hair on top of your head, if you have a $6,000 bicycle on top of a $600 car, if its no big deal to find a black bear on your back porch, etc.  I just always figured Spring started in June except when it's later.  Spring is that brief season between Winter and Fall.

I like the "dancing" of the animals! Very nice shot!
Actually you don't suffer from global warming at least! ;)
