Any suggestions

  • it’s not about the photos we take - it’s the ones we leave

Try this:
Turn your printer off from the front panel. Turn off the switch, in back, unplug it and wait a few minutes, then plug back in
and turn it back on.  Retry calibrating.  See what happens.

If it still won't work, go into your error logs and see what errors and warnings you've been getting.

ERROR LOGS, ETC.

Thanks Mark for the tip.
I did try the complete shut down and waited 5 minutes and tried it again. Still same error.
So I loaded some old glossy paper I had and that worked fine and also I loaded in some Canson Platine Fibre Rag and that worked, so it seems that for some reason I can't get my Z3200 to read matte papers which I assume use the MK ink. So I ordered a new R-MK print head to see if that maybe the problem.

I see that you are very active in this forum in regards to the HP Z3200 printer. Did you see my other question about purchasing new yet expired print heads and ink?
Just wanted to get your thoughts on this and also I forgot to ask I have the HP-APS profiling software which as we all know is now not really supported though I do have it install on a Windows 10 machine and seems to work. I mostly do all my photo stuff on my Mac and was wondering if just using the built in Profile Software that is included with the HP Utility will do the job.
Basically is the quality off the ICC profile really much better coming out of HP-APS then the built in version?
