I absolutely love the first one.  Instantly, even while it was just a thumbnail on screen.

Second is also very good.  What part of Iceland out of interest (just general region)?

Marshall - I would've given you the exact spot but the Canon 5D Mark III used to take that shot does not record GPS coordinates. You drive towards the Hverfjall crater in Mývatn, go around and past it (tough for normal cars to negotiate the road from this point) towards the Lúdentarborgir crater. These mountains are in that area.
