Tree duo
«

On a recent trip to Muscat, took a dawn stroll just outside the hotel, near the sea. Some trees were in bloom, the sky was stormy, seemed like this tree would make an interesting subject. Tried some B&W.
Regards.

What a great tree! Nice images, especially the Sistine-esque reaching in the second!
Are the blossoms yellow? If so I saw a lot of these same trees blooming in Honduras recently.

Like then both.
Looks like a plumeria tree (also called frangipani), if it's a warm climate.
In Hawaii it's a favorite flower for making leis.

Very nice, especially the first one. I like the processing and tonality. Well done.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Indeed it is a warm climate (Oman), and a frangipani. When in bloom, the flowers are beautiful.

That second image reminds me of Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam.
