Upgrade existing H lenses to 1/2000

I just want to observe that the prices have tripled now - which seems absurd.

Yes, you are right. Almost 3 times the price. These are the new prices:

EU Replacement, HC35/HC50/HC80/HC100 €1,100

EU Replacement, HCD28/HC120/HC150/HC210 €1,350

EU Replacement, HCD24/HC300/HC50-110/HCD35-90 €1,550

I am not getting any clear answer on these lens upgrades from Hasselblad.

Does anybody knows more?
How much it will cost per lens?

There is "no" upgrade for older exposure units to 1/2000th. If an older lens is sent in for Service, it's upgraded with a new 1/800th exposure unit. The only way to get the 1/2000th exposure unit is to purchase a new HC/HCD "EnhEU" (Enhanced Exposurer Unit) lens or its the result of a EnhEU model exposure unit being replaced by Service. The EnhEU lenses are indicated by an "orange square" on the lens, please see the following link:

Also, regarding the flash sync speed. The HC/HCD EnhEU lenses will flash sync up to 1/2000th on the H6D and X1D camera systems only. When used with earlier camera systems the maximum flash sync speed is 1/1000th.

Maybe that is the situation in the USA, but this is not necessarily true in Europe as I have seen old lenses with upgraded exposure units offered for sale.
