Anyone use a 63" Fletcher material cutter?
« on: April 03, 2016, 02:45:20 pm »

Gang,

Quick advice. I'm trying to pick-up a used 63" Fletcher cutter tomorrow. It is an older one, I think a 8400.

How much of the cutter can be disassembled? I know the right arm comes off. I looked at the manual but it appears the left arm and alonum triangle can't be removed?

My concern is I have a 4 door Jeep with a hatchback. The back seats go down and I know they will fit a 36*48" board flat. I hope the top of the Fletcher can fit through the front seats. Im not sure of the left arm if left attached will fit.

It's a good price I hope at $195. I need it mainly for foam core and 3-5mm sintra.

Just need some advice.

Thanks

Maxi

Great price.

I have the 48 inch unit trouble free.

Should provide you years of service. Trick is making sure the unit is level as possible.   And having a pretty true wall to mount to helps.
