I reviewed the Eizo recently for Luminous Landscape HERE: https://luminous-landscape.com/eizo-cg318-4k-review-the-cutting-edge-of-high-end-graphic-displays/

Its higher resolution than the NEC and has an inbuilt calibration device. Only you can decide if this is worth the premium.

In terms of color differences.. there effectively aren't any. I have had some time to now also test the NEC since the initial review and its gamut is about as good as the Eizo. Therefore the primary differences are resolution, in built calibration device and the more advanced software for soft proofing in the Eizo (see my video in the above review).

Doesn't sound like it. And that's been the case, more or less, for some time between the two.

The CG318-4K also to uses some type of A-TW(Advanced True White) polarizer to minimize IPS glow.

I am not sure I agree with that Andrew. YMMV of course - but in my experience, it was worth it.

PA322UHD also features OCF (Optical Compensation Filter) to minimise IPS glow - my old 30" NEC on the left, new PA322UHD on the right side of the image:

NEC software has virtually the same features as EIZO ColorNavigator, but it's divided to separate SpectraView II and MultiProfiler applications - you can apply soft proofing using internal 3DLUT of the display using NEC MultiProfiler and the result will be the same as in ColorNavigator.

There will also be brand new release of NEC SpectraView calibration software soon.

NEC has slightly smaller horizontal resolution, but is noticably larger:

In case of NEC PA322UHD the price difference is even larger, while the hardware is just the same. The SpectraView Reference has +2 years of warranty, hood, and european SpectraView Profiler software (which is worse than US SpectraView II software)

Good to know, there is a complete review for the NEC at http://www.prad.de/new/monitore/test/2015/test-nec-pa322uhd.html
