Native Saturation with Leaf Aptus
« on: May 10, 2006, 09:49:32 pm »

Recently, I did some copy work of flat art for a client. I shot everything fairly striped down as I like to do most of my post in Photoshop.

One observation is that things look pretty muddy, which is to be expected. But if I tweak the RAW file saturation level to about +20 with Leaf Capture 10 before exporting, the resulting tif looks really good.

Could anyone recommend some basics for shooting flat art with Leaf Capture 10?

- Generally I've been using the "Portrait" setting, ProRGB color look, sharpness off, saturation off, Adobe 98 export to tif.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Dave
