Legends
« on: February 29, 2016, 08:42:50 pm »

Our last day at Bryce Canyon. My wife wanted to hike one last time before the 5 hour drive back north so she chose the bristlecone pine loop, trail located at the end of the park. The park ranger said the loop was one hour tops. The ranger was very wrong. Two hours later we finally made it out alive. A snow trail that disappeared into fairyland and deep snow made this "easy" journey a forced march! I had to drive back in my slippers because me feet were soaked and ice cold. Anyway, the views along the way were excellent and this in one of the takeaways.

Reaching for the sky…

Well done… Hope you got you feet warm and dry, the shot was well worth the inconvenience.

Nice symmetry between the two vertical branches on the right. The shadow and proportion make it seem as if the far RHS one is across the canyon.

very good composition, ex ellent detail (at these dimensions at least) but I appreciate also more the wonderful b/w tuning.
It reminds me Ansel Adams or Vittorio Sella prints tuning. A pleasure to see for my tastes.
