Orchid Kodachromes
« on: February 28, 2016, 08:10:35 pm »

I've been digitally copying the hundreds of slides I've accumulated over the years. Many are kodachromes of orchids I raised in the early 90s. At one point, I had over 100 plants, many cattleya hybrids. These days, just a couple of dozen.

Anyhow, here are four cattleya hybrids taken in 1993-1994 with my Canon FT and (I imagine) a Tamron 28-80mm f/3.5 lens. I hope you enjoy them. Feel free to leave comments (and criticism, if necessary). Thanks for looking.

Cheers,

The first is out of focus.

2nd and third are good to my eyes.

4th needs focus stacking  ;) ;)

I know it was certainly difficult (impossible) before digital to do focus stacking.

Have a Nice Day.
