Capture One for Lightroom Photographers
« on: February 24, 2016, 03:38:32 pm »

An article on Capture One was just published: https://luminous-landscape.com/capture-one-9-video-tutorial-update/.   I was looking for a mention of Lightroom in that context. I am interested in people who mostly use Lightroomhave and have experience using a good workflow to also take advantage of certain things in CaptureOne.   There is a spectacularly clear Youtube video describing one workflow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPnwjPPqGgg&ab_channel=QuentinStafford-Fraser, but there are no details of what works well and what does not in real world use. For example, if you send a raw file from LR to C1, process it there and send it back to LR for more processing, it might get painful if you wanted to then go back into C1 again. Why? Because the history of edits in LR will be gone, and it will be necessary to keep track of versions.

For anyone interested in a workflow integrating LR and ON1, see this tutorial:
