Little Ubehebe Crater (Death Valley)
« on: February 24, 2016, 12:02:40 pm »

Made this photo on a recent visit to Death Valley. Took me a while to find a decent composition at the the crater. Sun was just beginning to set. Used my Mamiya rz67 with a 90mm lens. Ilford hp5 film.

Lovely surface detail and tonality.

Agree with the others, very nice. One nit, clone out the pipe sticking up?

Wonderfully rich processing. I'd second removing the pipe, but it isn't a big deal.
