Ummm, I am just an equipment abuser and not a real photographer, but I have owned two V system Hasselblads, and those I had shot square frames, not vertical ones. Make my day, and tell me there was a magazine for verticals.

Edmund

Do you mean an actual vertical magazine or just a rectangular one like the A-16?

I am here to make your day, apparently.
Hasselblad made a back for the V series the A/12V, it shot, does shoot if you can find one, 6x4.5 vertical, of course you only got 12 shots not the 16 of the horizontal format on 120.
They are uncommon as it was AFAIK never a catalogue line but was made to special order, I have seen one. Wildi mentions them.

They stop manufacturing everything in the system but the CFV's and even with them, they have failed to offer a rotating sensor to shoot the V camera as it was meant to be used.

There is no way Hasselblad could keep manufacturing V system Cameras and survive.

Same reason for not making a rotating sensor, there just wouldn't be the return on R&D.

Restarting this topic…

I wonder if enough people are interested in a foldable WLF for the Hasselblad H series, it could be 3D printed in a small batch.

I know I am.

Anyone else?

Can we summarise the features of the options:

HVM                                                         3-D version
Rigid                                                        Collapsible
No exposure metering                               No exposure metering
Auto-focus (Is this correct?)                       Auto-focus (Is this correct?)
Awkward to store camera when mounted    Easier to store camera when mounted

If the above table is correct and the 3D version retains auto-focus, I would be interested in buying one.

Can someone please 3D print this?

A lot of us on this forum (and the hasselblad digital forum) are willing to pay for one.
