Badlands: Transitions
« on: February 21, 2016, 03:28:48 pm »

Looking south from the taller peaks, the uplifted and folded section of the Badlands can be seen to transition into the surrounding high plains. I was fortunate to be there when the lighting was exceptional, instead of the usual "you should have been here yesterday/last week/last month" situation that is so often encountered.

Both above average, the 2nd easily the best.

Nice exposure work.

Appreciate the kind words, Kim.

And yes, it certainly has been a while. Kind of like getting a real blast from the past.  :)

Both are fine images and the processing is apt.
