How to remove a watermark
« on: February 03, 2016, 12:10:20 am »

I use Zenfolio. For some reason my uploaded files contain a copyright watermark. I vaguely remember creating it but not applying it.
I want to remove it.  :'(
Edit watermarks does not seem to work. Help says: "To delete a copyright watermark, choose it in the preset menu, then click the menu again and choose Delete Preset [name]."
So what is the preset menu and where do I look for it? I don't have a user preset that creates a watermark (left side of develop module)
Edit watermarks does not show the watermark that is the issue.
I watermark images within Zenfolio which are removed for image purchases. I have a client wanting images but I need to remove the watermark that somehow got uploaded to Zenfolio.
Running L:R 5.7 under Windows 10
Any help is much, much appreciated

Precisely how are you uploading to ZenFolio? With Export, review the Export dialog box. With a Publish Service, double click the service's header. In either case,  you have probably overlooked the watermark setting.

Thanks John, I'll look (again) for that. Clearly missing something...
I'm using Jeffery Friedl's publish to Lightroom tool.

Fixed, too simple of course.
unchecked the watermark box in the publish tool and re-published the gallery.
The learning for me was that Zenfolio makes images available as uploaded so if there is a watermark in the uploaded image it gets downloaded to the purchaser. If I use the Zenfolio generated watermark within Zenfolio that gets removed from the files purchased.
thanks again John
