If you have a higher res version you can probably see the lookout cabin on the south peak of Three Fingers.
Is the vignetting introduced or a result of the lens. In one sense, it focuses the viewer to the centre, but, as a photographer, wondering if it's an artifact bugs me. For non-photographers I doubt it's an issue.
Very nice, Adhika. Is that ice in the foreground?
I tried looking into the full res picture and unfortunately cannot locate the cabin. Is it visible from this side of the Cascades?
The image is one of dramatic effect. The one question I have is, do you have enough d-o-f for the distant mountains. At this size, there is a hint that they aren't as sharp but I could be wrong.
At f/8 and 600mm, no, the Cascades were not within the circle of confusion. It worked for me as a backdrop. What do you think?
To me the distant peaks and the sweet light on them are the main plot, so I would have either focused on them (and taken the hit on the foreground trees) or stopped down more.
...or made a series for focus-blending.
