Nice, almost abstract quality. Reminds me of Japanese drawings.. or Michael Kenna.

"+1"....

the "brush stroke" in the foreground is almost identical to some of the geometry and texture found in some japanese "watercolor"

Very nice image. On my monitor there is a slight duo-tone cast(?) at the horizon and into the sky on l. and r.?

Stark, beautiful, telling, disturbing; Burtinsky-ish - and that's all meant as a compliment.

A very nice use of black and white. Really excellent image. Tracks like brush strokes. The contrast in all the right places, great detail in the asphalt and the snow rendered flat strengthening the abstract quality.

Great photo, very simple yet strong. The high contrast accentuates that harshness of the place and environment.
