The only thing I can think of is how annoyed I was in Cornwall, trying to achieve a perfect pastoral look, when every shot with a sheep in it was ruined by the paint on their back.

Come to think of it, a b&w would be more along the lines of "Where's Waldo/Wooly."

On a side note, why French colors? A dig at French as...? ;)

Yeah, the blue's wrong for it to be a patriotic thing. The colours simply indicate whether the sheep has been dipped in whatever chemical bath is needed to kill off parasites. As for the B&W version - everyone would be looking for the panda
