Video freezes
« on: January 14, 2016, 12:33:40 pm »

I recently converted to a paid subscription, and am having troubles viewing the videos.

On 3 different videos, the video appears to download OK (as indicated by progress bar at bottom), plays OK for a number of minutes, and then the video freezes, but audio continues. Using current version of Firefox under Win 7.
Help.

This sounds like a streaming problem that is caused by a slow or limited bandwidth network.

Try using the Download button on the video to download the complete file to your computer before playing. This will only work on mobile devices if you have the necessary app to store and play the .mp4 or .mov file.

Thanks, download method works fine.

Yes, my internet connection is not the fastest on the planet.
However, I've NEVER experienced a similar problem with youtube, vimeo, etc. Not sure why it should show
up (apparently) consistently here. But that's all academic.

Thanks again.
