Taos Pueblo
« on: December 25, 2015, 10:01:17 pm »

The Taos Pueblo, near Taos, NM, has been occupied by the Tiwa people for over 1000 years. The residents live without running water or electricity to help preserve their ancestral way of life. Originally the Adobe buildings had no doors. Residents would enter through the roof and pulling the ladder in behind themselves. After the Spanish came they adopted doors. The blue on the doors is said to keep evil away. Enjoy. Comments always appreciated.

Perhaps a bit saturated, but I like the look. B&W worthy?
