Like a drawing

Same technique used in japanese feeling.
Well, I was forces to use it: the original shot is a mess and I can't get a pleasant process any other way...

I followed your link to your previous post Diego...IMHO, far to many of us ignore the potential of an image
due to being shortsighted in PP.

I'm not sure it always is shortsight: sometimes one get stuck with the idea he/she has in mind but that doesn't fit well with the shot itself.

As I wrote, this processing was kind of imposed on me by the shot because I'm not been able to get what I had in mind in the first place.

I think that the "Japanese" effect that you are getting in these images is very interesting.

You seem to be concerned,Diego, that the processing was easy - but surely how easy or difficult the pp is should not be relevant to an assessment of whether an image 'works' or its artistic merits.
In efforts to widen from 'straight' replicational photography it should only be the trite, kitsch, pretentious etc that we eschew. If it works aesthetically then it is worth serious consideration ... and this approach seems for me to have that potential.

Well, more than concerned I'm a little disappointed: I would have liked the processing to be a little more challenging because, well.. essentially it was so easy that it took away the fun of doing it :)

To say it better, being so easy took away a lot of the "craft".

I'd love to see how this would look as a print.

Well, I printed from a cheap local shop the image below (wiith two lateral black border to make it 4:3) and I like the result quite a lot.
But that's my image so I'm a little biased :)

I like them both very much. I think you're on to something. BTW, if you like it, that's all that matters, really.

Thanks you.

About liking them, I like them too.
My "whine" is because I like the making as much and the result and, in these case, the making was a little too easy to satisfy. :)
