Anyone have this file TC_2502_LAB-GRAY_SCO.cxf?
« on: December 09, 2015, 12:00:21 pm »

After reading a couple of articles, I've been wanting to try to use this file to experiment with optimizing profiles.  I see it referenced in many locations but can't seem to find a link to it. Just wondering if anyone could send it or maybe has a link to it.

Or a similar file.  Basically this file is 2500 grey patches, which is far more than necessary.

Marc who built that 2005 patch also created one with 900 patches if anyone's interested.
I also sent you both via email.

I'd assume any body can just take excel generate any necessary values 1, 2, 900, 2500, whatever and then use patchtool to make the proper format, no ?

#   Name   C   M   Y   K   L*   a*   b*
1   Measurement1   1.00   1.00   1.00   1.00   1.000   2.000   1.724

make CMYK sequence, Lab will be from there

nope, does not work without Lab ! ok, generate from excel with Lab too

thanks for the link.

interesting.  I googled it at least 4 or 5 times, with variations, and while I had many hits, no results provided an actual link to the file.

Thanks ... the 900 patch file seems a better choice.

Strange, didn’t see any email, even in junk mail.  I’ve had a few things that were emailed that never showed up. Need to figure out whats going on.
