View image crop without the original cropped area
« on: December 08, 2015, 11:24:58 am »

New to C1 9, cropped image, would like to see the cropped image "full size" (without the area cropped out).  In other programs, using Enter usually removes the area cropped out and I can see the cropped image filling the viewing area.  I don't care that the thumbnails show the entire image, would like to see the "final" image without the removed area taking up screen real estate.

What am I missing, if anything?  The Help section doesn't discuss.

Thanks

Be sure the crop tool is deselected. The easiest way for me is to be sure the pointer tool is selected.

Hi,

Like Bob said, selecting another cursor tool will hide the crop view, selecting the crop tool will show the crop inside the full image.

Cheers,
Bart

Pressing H brings the hand tool, for me is the quickest way ;)

This begs another question:
What is the point of showing the crop mask in the browser thumbnail? Is there a way to show the fully cropped image instead? I may be the only one, but when I crop an image, I don't want to see the original masked crop area anymore :)

Thanks again,
PP
