Thee is also Fotostation, a very robust solution  that iOS far more popular in Europe than in the states. A lot of photojournalists, agencies, and publishers use it.

Thanks Ellis - first time I have heard of this app.

I checked out the website and it seems to to be an interesting app.
It has several different possible configurations (three, in fact) ranging from something with similar functionality to Bridge + ACR(i.e. a file browser + editing ability) all the way through to a multi-user DAM tool.

I have not downloaded a trial version but I will investigate this app in more detail since it does appear to tick a fair few boxes for those that need something more than a single-user standalone product (AKA Lightroom or Capture One).

I have only recently been made aware of digiKam: see here
I have not yet tried it out but the information on their site suggests it may be very capable.

Open source, that's interesting.

I wonder how far the open source community's expertise in the subtleties of RAW file conversion has developed? Iridient's one-man development team has done some impressive work, but, by all reports, Affinity's team hasn't reached that level.
