As far as the richness of photographic opportunities, going to the South-West U.S.A. is a landscape photographer's dreams coming true. Personally, I feel incredibly lucky just being able to be there and witness the incredible show that thousands of years of natural forces prepared for us, let alone photographing it. It isn't usually nearly that easy, but one July evening I just walked to the middle of the river, set up, watched Cathedral Rock at sunset in its full glory, waited for the clouds to align just perfectly and, after the sun was gone for the day, I shoot this frame. A feeling I'll never forget.
Shot in 2010 with a Silvestri Bicam and a PhaseOne digital back. Thanks for viewing!
Best,
