Printing out of Capture One Pro 9
« on: December 05, 2015, 10:24:05 am »

Simple job... print two 8x10s on 10" roll paper.  I've created a custom paper size to print borderless - pretty much the same specs as I use in LR which works just fine, but I'm experimenting with printing out of C1-9 as I'm moving my workflow over to C1.

The problem is, when I hit print, only one of the two 5x7s is printing! It's printing where it should be on the paper, but I'm missing the other 5x7.  Here's a screen shot of my C1 settings, and everything looks good to go - but it isn't.  Any ideas of why this may be happening?

Mike - really just a guess:  Is it possible both images need to be selected?

Yes, both images have to be selected, but both are. If only one is selected, you'd see only one in the preview. The preview (screen shot) shows both images so I assumed both would be printed.

OK.. just did some more testing.  I had my paper size set to 10.1" wide. and the 5x7's were actually 5.06" wide so that I would make sure the bleed was sufficient to cover the paper. However, it appears that C1 rounds the image size up to 5.1" and then the paper wasn't wide enough to accommodate two 5(.06)" images side by side - 5.06 + 5.06 = 10.12.  I increased the paper size to 10.2" and it printed perfectly... full bleed 5x7s with minimal waste. Did I mention I hate math! ;)

Very interesting.  At least, the program did not resize the images to fit.  That's a good thing....
