Page Header
« on: November 30, 2015, 11:40:06 pm »

Not sure if it is intentional, but in the "Luminous Landscape" header on the Home page the sun (or moon?) "o" in "Luminous" has dropped down from the word. I actually thought you had changed the name of the site to Lumin Us Landscape (a new inclusive site), however, it appears to be the same it has always been in the headers of the forum pages. Of course if this change is intended then the other pages are out of sync.

Viewed in Safari.

Regards,

Marv

It's an animated sun and it's supposed to rise into the "O" position.  It was ported over during the upgrade today.  We'll get back to normal.

At the moment the sun starts just below the "I" in "Lumin" and then rises in an arc to a ways above the empty "O" position.

It's cute, but probably not quite what you wanted. Certainly harmless (and amusing).

I'm running Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and viewing the site on Safari 5.1.0. The green LL home page header is driving me to distraction. It occupies the whole of my 24" screen, so that I have to scroll a long way to get to content.

Is this something I will have to put up with if I continue to use Snow Leopard and Safari?

Eric can you do a screen shot and send it to me? Cmd Shift 3 and or 4 to do a selection.   Need to see what you are experiencing.  Send it by regular email.  Thanks.  Sounds like a glitch.  You may want to also try clearing your cache.

Kevin,

One of your tech geeks must have waved a magic wand. My previous post was what I had seen on Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7 64.
So I just tried Firefox, Opera, and Chrome, and each one opened with the sun just sitting right in the "O" position where it was supposed to be. And no animation.

So then I tried IE again, and the same thing. It's just fine. And I hadn't even cleared the cache.

I do think LL is the best web outfit I know of for fast responses to glitches, whether they be big or small. Perhaps you guys could run a training seminar for Adobe.   ;)
