Capture One v9 Top 10, Feature by Feature Analysis

In case some of you didn't wander over to the Capture One Pro thread...

Josh Booth has authored a CI Top Ten Features of Capture One. It provides some context for each feature, and also shows some before and after examples, which is a dominant theme of Capture One 9.

The color editor was already the standout feature of C1, and it seems that now the color tools have been even better integrated with the rest of the software.

All that is missing is a way to substitute C1 for the Develop module in Lightroom :)

I'll upgrade when and if it ever supports the Leica S (which, I was recently politely but in no uncertain terms told by an online rep, would be never, meaning no more C1 for me).

Wow, looks like a huge upgrade. I will try it tomorrow. Got a fresh batch of IQ160 files to process.

Has the live view module been updated too?

I am looking for LV rotation for Sony A7r and getting rid of that annoying 20min shut off, which doesn't make much sense for modern EVIL cameras

so it seems it hasn't....

Rotation still not possible (probably never will with Sony' actual SDK), but switching live view off after 20 minutes is just silly. I asked so many people now and no one gave me an explanation yet. it might be a small thing, but it annoyes me big time, as I have my live view on a seperate screen, which I modified to be able to rotate for portrait orientation, but this means i have to mouse my cursor with a screen 90° rotated. about 20 times on a regular shooting day.

Why?
