Hi dear HaBla H users.

My H4X /PhaseOne is no longer showing the actual battery capacity.
Neither by the small symbol on the bottom right, nor by dedicated pressing the"lamp" button.

Evreything else works perfect.Every other menus are A-OK.

What happened here?

thank You

Try to rest the battery. First Charge the battery fully, preferably overnight. Then grab your H body with no battery on it and press and hold the "menu" and "flash" buttons, and while holding them down push the battery up onto the handgrip. You should then here a rapid series of beeps indicating the PMU on the battery has been reset.

Is this all batteries? If so a clean of contacts on the camera and battery may be in order, and will do no harm anyway, and the spring loaded contact on the battery, that is for the data, it is still springing isn't it?
On a battery reset I find it sometimes requires the prism and back to be removed as well before the reset but either way it needs some dexterity if performed solo and I find a assistant is useful, willing or press ganged doesn't seem to matter.

I recently suffered from a similar behavior and after having inspected and compared the battery to a backup battery I could see that the one pin on top of the battery was shorter than on the second battery. The nickel pin must have gone stuck into the battery compartment somehow and thus didn't make good contact anymore. My HD5 was still running with that faulty battery except the battery status indication. With the backup battery everything was ok; thus you can figure out if it is the battery which is faulty or the camera body.

To answer you:

it´s with all batteries.I have 1 new 2900mah one and three of the older ones.
What´s so strange-
everything works. They even hold ~300+ clicks each.
But no indicator symbol.

hmmm

Clean the contact for the pin on the camera body, try a battery reset, see a dealer.

Make sure you have the latest firmware in your camera. The new 2900 mAh batteries are not supported by the older firmware and may produce erratic results.

Indeed I had forgotten that, I use one on my H1 but it has been updated, applause to Hasselblad for maintaining firmware releases on a product new in 2002.
