Unable to access Topaz from Lightroom

On Topaz Labs' YouTube channel is a series of videos showing what you need to do to install the plugins on El Capitan.  I suspect that the underlying problem  is that  the security system is much stricter about where files can go in the latest OS X.

Thanks, I did give the videos a try before my first post. Unfortunately, in my case, that did not help.
