I like the detail and they feel more like portraits than landscapes. I think it would be interesting to re-do them with that in mind - what is the story being told??

#1 The sun is behind the arch but the front side of the arch appears to be too light imo. I don't expect it to be truly realistic but a darkening of the shadows would make it a more realistic rendering.
