The Last resting place
« on: November 24, 2015, 07:42:04 am »

Glasgow, Scotland, has a necropolis which has become a big tourist attraction. There aren't any burials there anymore so it is a photographer's "paradise" which I have visited many times because there is always another angle to explore among the grave stones. Good for sunsets because about half of the large area is on hill overlooking the City. This scene is from the back of the necropolis which avoids the clutter of the city in the foreground.

Well done. Excellent composition, and your high contrast style suits the scene very well.
I like the way the clouds on both sides and the sunlit streaks on the ground all point to the monument that is partially hiding the sun.
