A wilderness in the far south of CA's Sierra Nevada, the edge of which is seen by anyone driving on the 395 to the more dramatic places up north.
The weather was rolling in for a storm this past weekend, and the further south we got, the mistier it became (which is quite rare for that area).
Signs of the hand of man are everywhere once you get off the 395, primarily fences and the ubiquitous power lines and their towers, so this was cropped on the bottom pretty heavily to cut those and some people out.
Hoping for HUGE snow in Yosemite Thanksgiving week, when we'll be back along this way.
