This advice comes a bit later than 20 minutes after your request, however..........three other books that also have excellent material regarding colour management are Color Confidence by Tim Grey, Real World Color Management by Fraser, Murphy and Bunting and Real World Photoshop CS2 by Fraser and Blatner (which is just about everything you ever wanted to know about using Photoshop - all 900+ pages of it!). The Epson "On Line Experience" also provides tutorials that are compact, basic and useful. Many people also highly recommend Andrew Rodney's book on colour management for photographers - I don't have that one yet (sorry Andrew - my loss) so can't speak from first-hand knowledge of that one. The good thing about having a variety of sources, despite the inevitable repetition, is that they all still manage to have different stuff, look at things from different ways, and give you quite a well-rounded perspective on the topics of interest. There's no such thing as only one way to do or think about anything in Photoshop.
