Four from the grave ... yard

Maybe this post would have been more appropriate a few nights ago! I have been re-evaluating some photos taken last year at the historical cemetery in Beaufort, NC. It's a fascinating place with stones going back to the early 19th century. I have been experimenting with B&W and also some subtle split toning (which may not be apparent here) and would welcome any comments.

Very nice Peter. I too have spend a lot of time photographing old grave stones. The aging marble, the inscriptions, and graphics often combine into wonderful subject matter, at least it does for me. Your processing is very nice and added a lot to the images.
