Stick in the mud
« on: November 01, 2015, 07:32:06 pm »

I had a pleasant hike along Liberty Reservoir just northwest of Baltimore city (Maryland, US) today. Rather poor lighting: overcast, with the sun coming out only occasionally. Here's one photo that captured what little 'good' light there was. C&C welcomed. Thank you for viewing.

Thanks Patricia. I took several different photos before deciding that this was the one. It combined all the elements I was hoping to capture, especially that ethereal 'rice paper and ink' reflection. - Bob

Sounds like some of my Saturdays, Bob: a real struggle to find a subject. Patricia's take is inspiring.

Thanks Thierry and Scott. Indeed, my quest for subjects is on the level with the quest for the holy grail, complete with Eric Idle and the rest of the gang. ;)
