Little River Canyon
« on: October 31, 2015, 09:34:40 pm »

Yesterday, I traveled to Little River Canyon in Fort Payne, AL. I was hoping to find lots of fall color, but it appears that the canyon must have gone through its fall color peak already. Below are the images of the two scenes I shot yesterday. As always, comments and critiques are appreciated.

A beautiful place, Richard, captured well from two very different and equally compelling perspectives.

In #1, the distant line of the river is so evocative; could you open up the shadows a bit more to allow the colour of the shaded valley to draw us in?

The water in #2 is gorgeous; the promontory, though an important feature in the area, does act to draw my attention away from enjoying the river itself. Not a criticism as much as an observation.

Thanks for sharing. Another place to visit one day.
