color managment/b&w color shifts/PSCC/LRCC
« on: October 25, 2015, 12:29:19 pm »

Having a hard time finding answers to a nagging issue.

Lets start with current setup

1. dell Ultra Sharp 2711 is calibrated using color monkey
2. color settings in PSCC are correct
3. color settings on d700 camera are rgb
4. export settings from lr are PRophoto PSD, 16bit,

i'm sure there are other checks but lets start here

All color images printed on 3880 are pretty solid match to screen, so no issue in that department

So the main issues are:

1.  In doing nik b&w conversions in pscc, i'm getting a color shift in the darker areas of the image. when i re-import to LR the color shift goes away?
2. if i do a bw conversion in LR and export to pscc i get the same color shifts when viewed in pscc.

it seems like its a profile issue but i believe i'm using all the correct settings.

OK so quick revision...
if i convert the NEF file or psd file in LR to jpg and open in pscc the color cast goes away??

any suggestions of how to fix?

If this is only on Monochrome Images and only when viewed in Photoshop could it be the same GPU rendering bug I encountered here?
