I like the feeling of openness and freedom, and the energy conveyed by the hill. Getting the few leaves against the contrasting sky is masterly.

Interesting... Usually think of autumn shots being about the color so to see a black & white shot forces me to look beyond color to the coming shift which is conveyed in subtle foreboding in this shot.

+1. Stellar image and spot-on processing. I'd also like to echo what Tony Jay (I believe it was he) said in another post about how many exceptional BW images have been recently posted to the forum. It would be nice to see them compiled into a hardcover book of prints.
