Corsica

Just back from a Holiday in Corsica. Apart from one day the weather was perfect for holidays in terrible for photography. The one exception saw me just after dawn 4000ft up standing on the edge of a chasm in a howling gale with rain swirling everywhere. Ten minutes before no light, ten minutes after and the rain had set in for the next 8 hours. Lots of flare and rain spots removed. All comments welcome.

It is good to see all of them.
The key for me, if I have to pick a favorite, is the near alignment of the prominent tree on the left with the crest of the hill, which I like. So I go for the first one.

All wonderful! I think my favourite is the third.

I will do my bit for the Corsican tourist board with some of the blue sky and sunshine shots.
All comments welcome.

Very nice ..... but an awfully lot to digest. I think when you see this many images they start to compete with each other and if all are fine images then that is a shame? If seen on their own then they will be better appreciated?

This is a fantastic set, especially the first ones. In the second sub-set, I like the second one best.
Well done.

I like the first one the most: the composition talks me about contemplation.
As a comparison, the second one looks "too dynamic" and "too closed" due both to the strong line of the rocks on the left (the ones on which the tree is standing) and the smaller part of background in the photo.

+1 for the first photo. I see a lot of the Hudson River School style in your photos, which I like a lot.
