A fine, sensitive portrait, Stamper (you dirty old man you!)   ;)

This photo is very "hard", contrasty, esp. on the girl's face. I'm not sure that this conveys the right message about mood and ambiance. Also, and very traditionally, I'm not sure about the fact that the girl's gaze seems to "hit" the right side of the frame too quickly. I would have left more "breathing space" in that direction. Otherwise, it's a nice street snap.

I like it. I wonder if a bit less contrast might be better; and I'd like to see her more towards the left of the frame, either by cropping at the left or increasing the space to the right.

A little less contrast could be good. I like contrast in my images and I felt that the contrast suited the mood of the woman. The image has been cropped so it can be framed differently. Thanks for the feedback.

I feel the harsh contrast fits the mood, but a softer version could also work. I do agree that a bit more space to the right would help.
But it's very fine.

Nice work Stamper. Hope you'll print & hang it somewhere. I wouldn't change anything.

Thanks. I was beginning to think that I was in a very small minority that likes B&W  and not dark grey and light grey. I like contrast in my images but I accept that not every image benefits, only 99% of them. ;) :)  The cropping is something I will think about.
