Buachaille Etive Mor, II
« on: October 06, 2015, 03:54:49 pm »

Buachaille Etive Mor is an imposing mountain at the eastern entrance of Glencoe and Glen Etive; its triangular shape makes for a very photogenic landmark, impossible to miss when traveling towards the Glen. Rather than the usual sunrise or morning shot, I decided to shot Buachaille Etive Mor backlight at sunset; a flock of small, white clouds racing over it added even more magic to the scene.

Taken with the Pentax 645z and Pentax 28-45mm f/4.5. Best,

I have seen so many shots of the Buachaille, I never thought I'd see a different take on it. I was wrong. Great shot

Thank you Bill & stamper, much appreciated - I think that one of the most difficult thing for us landscape guys is exactly this, to have a new take to offer when we photograph scenes that have been already photographed to death: your comments really make me happy, thank you very much indeed.

Very good work.

Thank you Paulo!

Best,
