hi, I just got my P1 back and the time keeps resetting, is there an internal battery ? or does it not store the date/time setting ? thanks
This can happen when a back is stored unused for a significant period.
Provide it power continuously for a while so that it can soak up the power into the battery/capacitor that maintains the date/time and it should start properly remembering the date/time.
If it still doesn't hold the date/time after that and you've purchased from a dealer then just let the dealer know. The service to replace this component is covered at no cost under your warranty and often backs that are found to have issues immediately after purchase are replaced rather than repaired.
