Quicktime .MOV Files Shot with EOS 7D Mark II Not Showing Up
« on: October 05, 2015, 12:46:20 am »

I recently shot some video with my Canon EOS  7D Mark II.  I shot it in quicktime .mov format.  When I loaded the card up on my computer, I could see the video file sitting there and was able to play it.

But when I gave the card to a friend with a Windows computer, he could not see the video files that I had shot on it.  He saw some cryptic references to "CTL files" on it but could not see any video.

I was wondering if anyone out there might know why this problem is rearing its ugly head...and what could be done to fix it.

thanks,

Nick

His problem is that he has a Windows computer. You may not be able to solve that one but reading the files is easy.
He just has to instal Quicktime. Tell him to just google "Quicktime" and install it.
