Leaf Aptus CF card size
« on: September 29, 2015, 09:41:42 am »

Hi,
would people here know if the Leaf Aptus backs 'eat' CF cards bigger than 32GB?
I cannot find that at Mamiya Leaf, they speak about 32 but not higher.

I can find this: https://www.phaseone.com/en/Search/Article.aspx?articleid=2246&languageid=1

Summary   Supported CF Cards on Leaf Aptus Digital backs
Problem
The following list of Compact Flash Cards (CF Cards) were tested and are approved compatible with the Leaf Aptus digital backs. NOTE list does not apply to Leaf Credo, see link below for Credo series backs This list is updated whenever a new card is added to the list:

Solution
Approved cards:

SanDisk Extreme Pro 16 & 32 GB (UDMA6 version)
SanDisk Extreme 8 & 16 GB
SanDisk Extreme IV 2, 4, 8 & 16 GB
SanDisk Extreme III 2, 4, & 8 GB
Pretec 333x 8 GB
Pretec 433x 8 GB
Kingston 600x 32 GB - firmware updated version Jan 2012
Kingston 266x 32 GB
Kingston 266x 2 GB

Cards must be formatted as per the following link

http://www.phaseone.com/en/search/article.aspx?articleid=1542&languageid=1
Cards should be dedicated for Leaf back’s, in case of use in another back. new format is required.

We recommend to import the files via a CF reader and not via the digital back.

So I guess 64GB is not an option (recent article from august 2015), but maybe someone knows...
