I like all of them, with a preference for the third: I think it's the one with a "clearer meaning".

I like 'em too, Bill, but I agree with Diego. #3 is best of the lot. The lake makes the difference.

I've got a particular liking for the first too, but I'd agree that the third is the pick of the bunch

As B&W landscapes though, do they pass muster?

They do with me, FWIW. I might darken the sky in #3 a little bit, though, particularly the upper bit.

Me too: simple, dramatic. Less over-bright sky.
